Active surface paint for ceilings
New technology sol-silicate active surface paint for ceilings. Due to its photocatalytic effect using visible spectrum illumination, it degrades entrapped air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), improving air quality. Indoor Air Comfort GOLD®’s most stringent voluntary certification scheme, thus contributing to a clean indoor atmosphere. It is recommended for use οn ceilings in rooms with fireplaces, stoves, wood stoves and cigarette smoke, indoor garages, and kitchens with gas cookers.

To ensure good adhesion, the surface must be dry, clean and free of generation dust, grease, residues, blistered paint etc. Avoid dust and prefer wet sanding to prepare
» On new surfaces: before applying the topcoat, apply one coat of the organosilicate primer KRAFT DUR AQUA WHITE.
» On surfaces that need repairing: use KRAFT SPACHTEL or the suitable repairing material of KRAFT.
» Before you start painting, dilute the paint 5 – 10% by volume tap water and stir well.
» Appropriate application tools for this product are brush and roller.
» Apply 2 coats of MASTER CLEAN AIR for the best result.
» Avoid high thickness dry film.
» Minimum recoating time is 24 hours.
» The surface drying time is 2-3 hours at 25 °C and 50% relative humidity (drying times are longer in wet / cold conditions).
» Avoid patching after finishing the painting. The difference of the substrate absorbance and application method might cause gloss deviations. If it is necessary to repair apply the paint to the whole surface.
» Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C and above 35°C and above 65% relative humidity.
AFTER USE INSTRUCTIONS
» The painted surface is not washable.
It is advisable to re-paint every 3 years after priming with organosilicate KRAFT DUR AQUA WHITE.
» If the product is repainted, sanding the surface is not advisable. If necessary, wet sanding and use of appropriate personal protective equipment are recommended.
Clean the tools thoroughly with water and detergent.
» Close the bucket to maintain in good condition for future use.
» Store before and after opening in a cool place and away from sunlight or frost conditions.
» Store the product at temperatures between 5°C to 35°C.
