General Information
Emulsion paint of high quality. It is certified as a product of low VOCs emissions according to the strictest standards of the globally renown voluntary label Indoor Air Comfort™ by Eurofins organization, contributing to a healthier indoor air. Thanks to its isothermal properties and to the micro glass beads in its formula, it tends to balance the walls temperature and to prevent the condensation of accumulated water vapors caused by temperature difference. It also resists to mold growth on its surface and it is evaluated by the internationally accredited IMSL microbiological service. Its dual properties make it ideal for home interiors of high humidity where water vapors are formed, of poor ventilation and/or lack of natural light, such as bathrooms, WCs, kitchens, basements etc. It is easily cleaned and resistant to frequent washing and to detergents. It has a mild odor. Due to its very low gloss, it effectively covers all imperfections creating an ultra matt finish.
How to Use
To ensure good adhesion, the surface must be dry, solid, and free of dust, grease, residues, blistered paint, etc. Avoid dust generation and exposure to it.
- On new surfaces: Before applying the topcoat, apply one coat of a water-based primer, such as KRAFT ECO DUR AQUA or KRAFT HAFT.
- On surfaces that need repair: Use KRAFT SPACHTEL or KRAFT PUTTY or a suitable KRAFT repairing material.
- On painted surfaces, with stains and/or mold Clean the surface with KRAFT MOLD BLOCKER first and use the insulating undercoat KRAFT ECO STAIN BLOCKER AQUA as a substrate.
- Before start painting, thin the paint 5-10% v/v with tap water and stir well.
- Apply 2-3 coats of KRAFT MASTER HYDROCONTROL for an ideal result.
- Clean the tools immediately with warm water and soap.
- Close the canister well to preserve it in good condition for future use. Store in a cool place, avoiding sunlight or frost conditions.
- You can clean the painted surfaces gently with a soft sponge and water, or in case of stubborn stains, with a small amount of detergent, at least 15 days after painting. Due to the ultra matt finish, the gloss of the surface might increase after washing.
