100% acrylic water-based putty for interior and exterior use
Water-based, ready-to-use acrylic putty for interior and exterior which provides rich, smooth finish when applied on woods, plastered walls and boards, cement boards, concrete, primed metals to fill substrate imperfections. Its unique design and consistency ensures easy applicability, excellent filling, level-ling and sanding properties ensuring a strong grip on the surface. Compared to conventional putty, it is quick drying, has better alkali resistance and lesser porosity, thus improv-ing emulsion, acrylic or enamel paint performance further. It is the ideal undercoating for repainting jobs as it can be used for touch-ups as well as for large-scale application.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
To ensure proper adhesion to the substrate, the surface must be dry, smooth, clean and free of dust, oil, salt, rust, loose paint and residues, blistered paint etc. Remove all moss, fungi, and algae by mechanical abrasion and wash with soapy water and allow the substrate to dry.
» It is recommended that fresh concrete, stucco, plaster, gypsum and asphalt surfaces are allowed to dry for at least 4 weeks before the application of KRAFT SPACHTEL.
» Use suitable sealant of KRAFT to fill joints, gaps, and other damaged surfaces.
» Use suitable repairing material of KRAFT to repair damaged surfaces.
» On porous substrates apply one coat of KRAFT ECO DUR AQUA diluted with 80% water and allow to dry.
» Apply the material by putty knife in one or more coats, if required, to fill cracks and dents. It can be sanded after thoroughly drying with a suitable abrasive sandpaper. It is recoated with any emulsion, acrylic or enamel paints of KRAFT after proper preparation.

» Touch drying time: 30-45 minutes at 25°C and 50% RH.
» Time to recoat or sanding: 3-4 hours at 25°C and 50% RH.
» Drying time may vary according to temperature, relative humidity, thickness and porosity of the substrate. Drying time will be longer in cool and dump conditions.
» Stir well before use and during application.
» Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C or at humidity levels above 65%.
» Avoid inhalation of dust by using suitable respiratory protective equipment during sanding.
» Store in dry conditions at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
» Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
