General Information
Colorless wood preservative, suitable for the preparation of exterior wooden surfaces prior to varnish application. It penetrates deeply into the pores of wooden surfaces such as exterior doors, frames, fences, pergolas, linings, outdoor furniture and effectively protects them from wood-decay fungi, blue stain fungi and insects like woodworm and termites. It is compliant with the new European Legislation. It contains: Permethrin (ISO), Propiconazole and 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate. It can cause allergic reaction.
How to Use
To ensure good adhesion, the surface must be dry and free of dust, mold, resins, residues, blistered paint, etc.
- On new wooden surfaces: Remove grease and resins using KRAFT BRUSH SOLVENT, sand along the grain and remove dust with a wet lint-free cloth. Cure existing knots and apply 1-2 coats of KRAFT WOOD CARE for protection against woodworm and fungi. Then, apply 2-3 coats of KRAFT WOOD CLASS or KRAFT WOOD SHIELD impregnation varnish and/or 2 coats of KRAFT WOOD STYLE or KRAFT WOOD AQUA wood-stain varnish.
- On painted wooden surfaces: : Remove all residues of old paints or varnishes using KRAFT REMOVER, clean the surface with KRAFT BRUSH SOLVENT or sand well with a proper sandpaper. After the surface is completely dry and all residues have been removed, repair all damaged parts of the wood with a proper putty. Then, apply 2-3 coats of KRAFT WOOD CLASS or KRAFT WOOD SHIELD impregnation varnish and/or 2 coats of KRAFT WOOD STYLE or KRAFT WOOD AQUA wood-stain varnish.
- The product is ready to use.
- Stir well before application and apply 1-2 coats of KRAFT WOOD CARE.
- Clean the tools immediately with KRAFT BRUSH SOLVENT.
- Close the canister well to preserve it in good condition for future use. Store before or after opening in a cool place, avoiding sunlight.
