Water-based polyurethane decorative wood varnish
It is a high-quality waterborne polyurethane acrylic decorative varnish. It protects and decorates the wood. Suitable for exterior and interior wood surfaces such as doors, windows, frames, pergolas, fences. It presents an exceptional durability, stain removal properties, and transparency. SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be dry and free of dust, mold or resin. Sand with a suitable abrasive paper, along with the grain, and smooth well the surface.
» On new wooden surfaces: Remove greases or resins with KRAFT BRUSH THINNER, sanding parallel to the grain, removing the dust with a damp, lint-free cloth, apply 1 coat of KRAFT WOOD CARE wood preservative for protection against woodworm and fungi. In case you need a color effect on wood apply before the varnish, 1-2 coats of KRAFT WOOD SHIELD.
» On painted surfaces: Check the surface stability. If it is acceptable apply directly the varnish. If not, remove all old paint or varnish using KRAFT REMOVER and then clean the surface with KRAFT BRUSH THINNER or sand well until their removal with the appropriate sandpaper. After complete drying of the surface and removing all residues, repair all the defective points of the wood with suitable putty. Then apply the varnish.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
» Before you start painting, dilute the paint by adding up to 10% by volume tap water and stir well.
» Check the wood moisture before painting. It shall not exceed 10%.
» Do not apply on wooden surfaces which are in contact with the ground or water.
» The durability of the film is reduced when applied on horizontal surfaces that are pressed.
» Appropriate application tool for this product is brush.
» Apply 2 coats of KRAFT WOOD STYLE AQUA for the best result.
» Minimum recoat time is approx. 24 hours.
» The surface drying time is ½-1 hour at 25°C and 50% relative humidity (drying times are longer in wet/cold conditions).
» Avoid application at temperatures below 10°C or greater than 35oC and relative humidity greater than 60%.
AFTER USE INSTRUCTIONS
» Close the bucket well to maintain in good condition for future use. Store before and after opening in a cool place and away from sunlight or frost conditions.
» Clean the tools thoroughly with water and soap.
» Allow at least 15 days before cleaning and washing newly painted surfaces.
» You can wash the painted surfaces gently with a soft sponge and water and in cases of bad stains with a mild detergent.
STORAGE
» Store the product before and after opening at temperatures between 5°C to 35°C.
